Azza Fahmy

Azza Fahmy is the Middle East’s leading jewellery designer, renowned for overcoming several barriers. In 1969, she broke into the male dominated jewellery industry in Egypt, when she was the first woman to train as an apprentice with the masters in Cairo’s jewellery quarter.

Through this pioneering spirit, authentic storytelling around cultures as well as the preservation of craftsmanship and education, Azza Fahmy Jewellery has garnered an esteemed following including world leaders, royalty and celebrities while having collaborated across some of the most sought-after and illustrious designer runways.

One of Azza Fahmy Jewellery’s trademarks is Arabic calligraphy using traditional proverbs and verses of celebrated scholars, poets and artists. The company is run by Azza Fahmy and her two daughters Fatma Ghaly (CEO) and Amina Ghali (Head Designer).
